• Can anybody get phone service from your company?
Absolutely! We service all provinces across Canada and everyone is approved!

• Is a security deposit or credit check required?
No, we do not require a security deposit and we do not do credit checks. All we need is your initial payment (your connection fee and first month of service), and your name and address. It's as simple as that!

• What if I owe money to other phone companies?
Phone Factory Reconnect provides service to people regardless of past credit history. Your debt to other phone companies will make no difference to the service you will receive from our company.

• How long does it take to get my phone connected?
Phone Factory Reconnect strives to connect our customers as quickly as possible. Please bear in mind that connection times may vary due to telecom workloads, however we will always endeavour to provide the fastest connection possible. • How can I make payments to connect my phone line, and for my monthly service?
Phone Factory Reconnect accepts Visa, MasterCard, Money Orders sent via Express Post to our address, LINK Card payments made at Northern Stores or North Mart, telephone or online banking, and cash payments made directly at any of our 13 locations throughout B.C. and Alberta.
Also, all Phone Factory Reconnect invoices are payable at all major financial institutions, so paying your monthly phone bill is easier than ever! You can simply take the lower portion of your invoice into your bank, or to a banking machine to make your payment.
Or, take advantage of our convenient Pre-Authorized Payment Plan! Simply fill out our PAPP form, attach a VOID cheque and Phone Factory Reconnect can automatically debit your monthly phone bill from your bank account! It's hassle-free and only needs to be set up once! To download the form now, click here. You can simply print it off, complete it and fax or mail it with a VOID cheque to our office.
Please note that we do not accept personal cheques.


• When is my bill due?
Once your initial payment has been made for your first month of phone service and your connection fee, your monthly phone service bill will be due 30 days after your phone is connected, and then on that same day of every month following.

• What happens if I am late paying my bill?
Our Terms and Conditions do state that you are to pay on or before your due date in order to continue service. If the bill is paid late there will be a late fee applied to the account of $3.00 per day (up to $30.00). If the bill payment is not received within 5 days of the due date the line will be disconnected. We will gladly reconnect any previous client.

• Can I change my due date?
YES! Clients have the option to change their due date. In order to do this we simply pro-rate the service for the difference in days between the current due date and the requested due date. Call us for information on your due date options.

• I want to cancel my order, can I have a refund?
If you choose to cancel an order before the connection date a partial refund of the monthly fee will be mailed out in cheque form. If you choose to cancel after their connection date, no refunds will be available.

• Can I have my monthly invoice emailed to me?
Yes! Go Green! Please contact our Head Office by phoning us toll free at 1-877-336-2274 or by emailing us at info@phonefactory.ca to notify us that you would like to begin receiving paperless billing.

• I am having trouble with telemarketers, what can you do to make the calls stop?
You can register your phone number for the National Do Not Call List! Please click here for information on the National Do Not Call List.

• I am receiving harassing / threatening calls, will you change my telephone number for me?
There is a charge from the phone company in order to change a telephone number, so Phone Factory Reconnect may have no choice but to pass that charge on to you, and would require a pre-payment in order to change the number. Please call for a quotation or to see if you are eligable for exemption from the charge.

• Why have I been charged for directory assistance?
Some provinces have the option to block directory assistance. However, in the provinces of Alberta, Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia, PEI, Newfoundland and New Brunswick and the territories all 411/directory assistance calls are billed back to the client at $3.00 per call. On each billing cycle, the telephone company will send us a detailed bill which will reflect charges incurred for that period. The client will be invoiced at that point. Sometimes charges from the past billing period will appear on current billing and are payable on your due date.

• Can I change the name on my account?
Clients can change the name on their account, however there is a charge associated with the change. Note that if a person other than the current account holder requests a change of name to the account that we must verify with the account holder that they agree to the change.

• Does your company offer calling features?
Phone Factory Reconnect offers a variety of calling features including Call Display, Call Waiting, Visual Call Waiting, Voice Mail, Call Forwarding and more! For more information on the features you would like to add to your service, please contact our office.

• Can I make long distance calls?
Of course! We offer two very convenient options that are designed to give you the best deal, depending on your calling preferences; Unlimited Long Distance To Canada/USA Just $19.95 per month!!! • Why doesn’t my phone line work?
At times, problems with the telephone company or the customer’s equipment can cause issues with the phone line. A repair process will have to be initiated. Please contact Head Office for trouble shooting steps and information. Alternatively, your phone may have been disconnected due to non-payment.
